Construction on the chuch began in the spring of 1861 and finished fall of 1862. It was dedicated on September 6, 1862. The last service in this church was held on March 28, 1915. The first service in the second church was held on October 3, 1915. The church pictured and the second church were located on Victoria Street W., Alliston.
