Digital Library Expansion Complete!

We have finished expanding the Banting Digital Library, thanks to a generous donation from the Simcoe County Historical Association. Some local area residents had offered to have some of their personal pictures and artifacts added to the Library's digital collection. A big thank-you to Don and Marie Shields, Gord Wright, Garnet Madill, Vi McDowell and Rachelle Clayton for allowing us to include their artifacts. Some artifacts on display at the South Simcoe Pioneer Museum have also been included, such as Banting's kayak.
Search Engine Unveiled

The Banting Digital Library search engine is now online. Use the search engine to search the contents of the website.
New Paintings Found

The Ontario Medical Association discovered three paintings. Two of the paintings are by Frederick Banting while the third is by Charles H. Best. Photographs of the paintings can be found in the Sketches and Paintings section.
