Description:  John Faithful demonstrated that he was not only a bricklayer, but also an engraver of sorts. His name and the date April 27, 1879, can be found carved on a brick inside the bell tower, next to the initials and names of other well known young members, including possibly those of a young Fred Banting. St. John's United Church was originally known as Wesleyan Methodist Church
