The first is entitled "Sir Frederick Banting: An Appreciation", and was an address in a symposium celebrating the 25th anniversary of the discovery of insulin, held at the Interational Diabetes Clinic, Indiana Universary Medical Center, September 23, 1946, Indianapolis, Indiana. (reprinted from THE BULLETIN, Medical Society of the County of Monroe, Rochester Academy of Medicine, Rochester Pathological Society, Vol. 4, No. 6, Rochester, N.Y., October 1946. The second article, entitled "The Most Important Dog in all History", concerns Margery, a mongrel dog used in Frederick Banting's diabetes research. This was also reprinted from the Bulletin, Vol. 3, No. 9, January, 1946.
